Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosage and instructions for use.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into account their medical history and specific needs.
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects and drug interactions.
- Monitor patients' response to medication therapy and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles and allergies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote medication safety and prevent medication errors.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmaceutical research and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
- Participate in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards in the pharmacy practice.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacist license and registration by the state of Wyoming.
- One year of hospital experience (strongly preferred).
- College Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and drug therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and educate patients.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve medication-related issues.
- Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software applications.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
