We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Physical Therapist for our esteemed healthcare institution. This role involves working closely with the school to develop and implement physical therapy programs for students and staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving the health and well-being of others, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. This position requires 1+ years of relevant experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive physical therapy programs tailored to the needs of the school community, including students and staff.
  • Provide expert advice and consultation to school administrators on the development of health and wellness initiatives.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor the progress of individuals participating in the physical therapy programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, teachers, and parents to ensure the successful implementation of the physical therapy programs.
  • Participate in school meetings, workshops, and seminars to provide insight into the role of physical therapy in enhancing the overall health and well-being of the school community.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy and incorporate them into the school's physical therapy programs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of the physical therapy programs and the progress of the participants.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to physical therapy.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be highly desirable.
  • A valid state license or certification to practice physical therapy.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of physical therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, including school administrators, teachers, healthcare professionals, parents, and students.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to physical therapy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
