We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality physical therapy to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or conditions. You will be part of a team that is committed to delivering exceptional care and ensuring that patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Physical Therapist at our Ortho Center, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Evaluating patients' physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans to improve their conditions.
2. Implementing therapeutic exercises and using specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
3. Monitoring and documenting patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
5. Educating patients and their families about their conditions and teaching them exercises to do at home to expedite recovery.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in physical therapy and orthopedics.
7. Adhering to all federal and state regulations regarding physical therapy.
8. Working with patients of all ages, from children to the elderly, who have various orthopedic conditions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Physical Therapist position should have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
2. A current, valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
4. Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and orthopedic conditions and treatments.
5. Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and technology.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
