This role will focus on improving the patient's mobility, alleviating pain, preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities, and promoting overall fitness and health. The successful candidate will be expected to work with patients of all age groups, from children to the elderly, with a particular emphasis on therapy for joints, hip, and ortho-related conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' medical history and physical condition to diagnose their physical ailments and set up a tailored treatment plan.
  • Implement progressive treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them increase their mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide well-rounded and comprehensive care. This may include physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
  • Educate patients and their families about what to expect from the recovery process and how best to cope with challenges throughout the process.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as needed and staying abreast of the latest best practices in physical therapy.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans upon the conclusion of therapy, ensuring patients have the necessary knowledge and resources to continue their recovery process independently.

Qualifications:

  • . A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state license to practice Physical Therapy or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.

  • Exceptional knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical dysfunctions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to empathize with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs.
