Job Details

NP/PA - INTERVENTIONAL PAIN

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS)


Qualifications:

  • Licensed NP or PA in the state of Georgia
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • DEA license (or eligible)
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or anesthesia preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to train in interventional procedures if not already experienced

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and follow-up assessments for patients with chronic and acute pain
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Perform or assist in interventional procedures (under supervision as required)
  • Prescribe and manage pain medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Educate patients on treatment options, medication use, and self-management strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
