We are seeking a highly dedicated and passionate Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, possess excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant.
Responsibilities:
As a Physician Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced primary care setting.
2. Performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing health problems, developing and implementing treatment plans.
3. Interpreting lab results and managing follow-up care.
4. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
5. Educating patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options.
6. Managing a broad range of health issues, including acute and chronic illnesses.
7. Participating in continuous education and training activities to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and regulatory standards.
8. Providing services in Spanish, ensuring effective communication with our diverse patient population.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, the candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
2. Primary setting experience preferred, but not required.
3. Able to speak Spanish is a must. Basic Spanish is fine.
4. A master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
5. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
6. Exceptional clinical and diagnostic skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families in a clear and understandable manner.
9. A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping others.
