Job Details

Under the direction and supervision of the medical staff, the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with a physician, providing comprehensive assessments of patient's health and status. Gastroenterology and/ Hepatology experience preferred, must be available for full-time employment, minimum of 32 hrs. – 40 hrs. per week.

o Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic complaints related to gastroenterology & hepatology.
o Provide patients with appropriate information, instructions concerning illness, medications, treatment and follow-up plans.
o Provide patient care in OP clinic, ASC, and hospital settings.
o Excellent interpersonal skills with clinicians, patients, and administrators, and auxiliary personnel.
o Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and business associates.
o Strong clinical background and experience.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively with patient care teams.
o Strong time management and organizational skills.
o Flexibility to meet changing needs of the current healthcare environment.
o Graduate from an accredited program, current ACLS, BLS Certifications.
