Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Plaintiff L&E Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Developing case strategies for single plaintiff, wage and hour, and class action lawsuits.
2. Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
3. Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents, such as complaints, pleadings, and motions.
4. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in wage and hour disputes.
5. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations in labor and employment matters.
6. Keeping abreast of current developments in labor and employment law to ensure the provision of up-to-date legal advice.
7. Collaborating with legal team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor and Employment Attorney, with a focus on single plaintiff, wage and hour, and class action cases.
4. Exceptional litigation skills, with a proven track record of success in labor and employment law.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. A high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
