This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough client intakes, investigating claims, and preparing demand letters.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that serves their best interests.
- Collaborate with team members and experts to prepare for trial.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in personal injury law and adhere to all professional standards and ethics.
- Provide compassionate and effective legal guidance to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of personal injury law.
- Develop and implement case strategy in conjunction with the client's goals.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Must hold an active license to practice law in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury cases.
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal injury law and procedure.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Ability to manage a large caseload and work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and passionate about achieving justice for clients.
- Previous trial experience is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and coworkers.
