You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury proceedings.
- Analyze probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
- Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
- Conduct pre-trial discovery, handle depositions, and attend court hearings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in complex personal injury cases.
- Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proven track record of success in personal injury cases, specifically auto trucking incidents.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to review and understand complex legal documents.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively and persuasively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at ease with a variety of clients.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of performance.
- Must have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Experience in trial preparation and courtroom litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
