The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling plaintiff personal injury cases involving auto trucking. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation. Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury proceedings.
  • Analyze probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
  • Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
  • Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
  • Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
  • Conduct pre-trial discovery, handle depositions, and attend court hearings.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in complex personal injury cases.
  • Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proven track record of success in personal injury cases, specifically auto trucking incidents.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to review and understand complex legal documents.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively and persuasively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at ease with a variety of clients.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of performance.
  • Must have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Experience in trial preparation and courtroom litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
