Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plaintiffs Personal Injury Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law and be barred in DC, MD, or VA. The attorney will handle a caseload of personal injury claims, representing clients who have suffered harm due to negligence or intentional misconduct.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plaintiffs Personal Injury Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law and be barred in DC, MD, or VA. The attorney will handle a caseload of personal injury claims, representing clients who have suffered harm due to negligence or intentional misconduct.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Represent clients in personal injury claims, including those involving automobile accidents, medical malpractice, slip and falls, and other injury-related matters.
- Case Management: Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from initial client consultation through settlement or trial. This includes case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and negotiations.
- Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Trial Preparation: Prepare cases for trial, including developing case strategies, organizing evidence, and working with expert witnesses.
- Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress and provide legal advice and guidance.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings and trials.
Qualifications:
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice law in DC, MD, or VA. Multiple state admissions are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
- Experience with case management software and legal research tools.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
