Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Plant Controller to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, business analysis, forecasting, cost accounting, material management, strategic planning, six sigma, lean accounting, SAP and more. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.

- Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to management.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for the plant.
- Manage the plant's cost accounting system to ensure accurate and timely recording of costs.
- Develop and implement material management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
- Lead the plant's strategic planning process to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Implement and maintain six sigma and lean accounting principles to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage the plant's SAP system to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Serve as the plant controller and provide leadership to the accounting team.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments within the plant to ensure financial objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a plant controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, business analysis, forecasting, cost accounting, material management, strategic planning, six sigma, lean accounting, SAP, and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
