Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Plant Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing all financial aspects of our manufacturing plant, including the preparation of financial reports, budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
2. Ensuring that all financial operations comply with federal and state laws as well as the company's policies.
3. Implementing and ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and all other relevant financial regulations.
4. Leading and coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, including capital expenditure planning.
5. Analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
6. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
7. Collaborating with management on development and execution of funding strategies.
8. Identifying, developing, and executing analysis of business initiatives, product launches, and/or new service offerings.
9. Managing the production of the annual budget and forecasts, and preparing reports for senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Plant Controller position should possess:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other accounting and financial principles and practices.
4. Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
9. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
