We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Controller to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financials of our plant operations, including cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of plant finance, including cost accounting, inventory, and fixed asset accounting.
2. Lead the annual budget process and regular forecasting exercises.
3. Implement and manage ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
4. Conduct regular ledger activities, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
5. Drive cost reduction initiatives across the plant operations, identifying areas for potential savings and efficiency improvements.
6. Manage the year-end close process, ensuring all financials are accurately reported and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.
9. Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or CPA would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in ERP implementation, specifically with NetSuite software.
4. Proficiency in cost accounting and ledger management.
5. Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and financial management.
6. Experience in managing annual budgets, year-end close, and cash flow.
7. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
8. Strong experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is required.
9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
