We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller to join our plant management team. This is a high-profile role that will have a significant impact on the organization. The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, providing accurate and timely financial reports, and playing a critical role in the strategic planning and forecasting process. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, financial analysis, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the plant including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Manage the plant's inventory, including conducting physical counts and reconciling with existing inventory records.
4. Analyze plant performance and margins, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
5. Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
6. Participate in the development of the plant's strategic plan, providing financial insights and forecasts.
7. Collaborate with plant management to develop budgets and financial plans.
8. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
9. Work closely with the corporate finance team to align financial strategies and processes across the organization.
10. Conduct regular financial audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and inventory management.
4. Excellent financial reporting skills, with a thorough understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques.
5. High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
10. Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
