Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all plant-level accounting functions, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory control, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports with insightful commentary on variances and trends.
  • Partner with plant leadership to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Analyze manufacturing variances and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies.
  • Support SAP (S/4HANA) implementation and ongoing ERP optimization.
  • Supervise and develop plant accounting staff, including performance management and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, HR) to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and manage inventory accuracy, waste reduction, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Serve as the financial liaison between the plant and corporate finance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in SAP (S/4HANA strongly preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
