Job Details

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee design, reliability, and improvement of utility systems (steam, HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, wastewater, energy).
  • Lead facility infrastructure upgrades (building envelope, drainage, dock doors, critical systems).
  • Ensure compliance with engineering codes, food safety, and safety standards.
  • Manage capital projects from scope development to execution and closeout.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Prepare and submit capital expenditure requests.
  • Manage contractors/engineering partners for cost-effective delivery.
  • Support product/process expansions through infrastructure readiness.
  • Maintain system documentation, drawings, and engineering standards.
  • Contribute to long-range capital planning and forecasting.

Qualifications (Needed)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering.
  • Proven capital project leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of utility systems & facilities engineering.
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering codes, safety standards, and compliance.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Food & beverage/aseptic experience, FDA-regulated utilities, CMMS (Infor/Hexagon EAM), PE license or PMP.
