As a plant engineer on our team, you will be supporting the Chief Engineer by overseeing the design, modification, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems to enhance operational efficiency, implement new technologies, and resolve production issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with equipment design, construction, and ongoing maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
  • Utilize AutoCAD and simulation tools for process modeling and system upgrades
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Support installation and maintenance of control systems (e.g., PLCs, intrinsically safe/explosion-proof equipment)
  • Maintain and support utility systems including boilers, HVAC, compressed air, hydraulics, and fire suppression

Job Details

MUST HAVE:
  • BS in a related field
  • 3+ years of industrial plant engineering experience
  • PLC experience (preferably Honeywell automation)
  • Knowledge of lean six sigma principles
  • AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of plant control systems

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Lean Six Sigma belt certification
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, HVAC controls, fire suppression systems, and explosion-proof devices
