We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Finance Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. This role provides an opportunity to be a key contributor to our financial operations, providing strategic financial insights that drive our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of the plant, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform variance analysis to understand and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for financial management and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage the plant's annual budget, working closely with plant management and corporate finance.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support decision making.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
  • Collaborate with plant management to identify cost savings opportunities and drive efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of business plans.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support capital investment decisions.
  • Train and mentor finance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Experience with monthly reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
  • Proven ability to perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and financial controls.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management and staff at all levels of the organization.
