Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Finance Manager to join our leading manufacturing team. As an integral part of our financial management team, you will play a key role in budgeting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and process improvement. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our plant, managing the annual budget, and providing strategic financial insights to support the growth and profitability of our business.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the plant, including budgeting, financials, and cost accounting.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances, potential risks, and opportunities.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal excise tax and other regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of ERP and other financial systems (D365 experience is a must).
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team on cash flow management and other financial matters.
  • Support the manufacturing process by providing financial insights on ethanol and its by-products, including recycling ethanol.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed.
  • Oversee the FP&A function, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance role within the manufacturing industry, preferably with exposure to the spirits or ethanol sector.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost accounting.
  • Strong experience with ERP implementation, specifically D365.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex financial models.
  • Familiarity with federal excise tax and other regulatory requirements related to the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements and implementing financial systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and build relationships across the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
