Our company, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Plant Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. The role involves a combination of strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on work. You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest level of operational efficiency, productivity, and safety. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire plant maintenance program, ensuring all equipment and machinery are operating at optimal levels.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing them with the necessary training and support.
  • Coordinate with other department heads to ensure seamless operation and meet production goals.
  • Manage the budget for the maintenance department, including forecasting and controlling costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for all maintenance-related issues, providing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Continually evaluate and improve maintenance processes, implementing new technologies or methods when beneficial.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the quality of work performed by external service providers.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technology for maintenance management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
