Responsibilities:
What you need for this position:
- Lead all plant operations, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency from production to shipment.
- Oversee production schedules and inventory management to maintain optimal raw material and equipment stock levels.
- Supervise and support plant personnel, including Assistant Plant Manager, drivers, and yard staff, fostering a productive work environment.
- Manage maintenance programs for both fleet and plant equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Implement and uphold quality control and compliance measures to meet industry and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize plant performance and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Adapt to varying work schedules and peak-season demands, ensuring seamless plant operations.
What you need for this position:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a plant operations or manufacturing leadership role.
- Hands-on knowledge of plant systems, equipment maintenance, and production processes.
- Strong understanding of quality control and compliance within an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Ability to effectively manage personnel, schedules, and resources in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address production and maintenance challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams, vendors, and leadership.
- Proficiency in computer systems relevant to plant operations and inventory tracking.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including long shifts during peak seasons.
