We are seeking an experienced and dynamic full time Plant Manager to join our team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced, innovative, and quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for the plant to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  • Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Share a trusting relationship with the workforce and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
  • Commit to plant safety procedures and lead the plant to achieve safety goals.
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
  • Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.
  • Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.

Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Plant Manager in the manufacturing industry
  • Proven managerial experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership position.
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
  • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.

  • BS degree
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/SAP software.
