Job Details
We are seeking an accomplished Plant Manager to lead operations at our Starkville, MS facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader or a Production Manager ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will oversee all plant functions—including production, quality, customer service, finance, and maintenance—while ensuring safety, compliance, and profitability.

- Lead and manage all plant operations to deliver quality products safely, on time, and within budget.
- Drive operational excellence across production, P&L, budgeting, accounting, quality control, customer service, and maintenance.
- Build and develop a high-performing workforce through effective training, coaching, and leadership.
- Maintain a safe, environmentally sound workplace in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee quality systems and ensure ISO compliance.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic manufacturing plans, including long-term capital and operating budgets.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote engagement and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibility.
- Proven knowledge of production processes, labor and safety laws, TQM
- Proven work experience as a plant manager in a manufacturing environment with a preference for Pulp & Paper, textiles and or plastics
- Union experience and negotiation union contracts is a must
