Job Details:
We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a Permanent Plastic Fabricator to join our dynamic team. This position involves working with a variety of materials to create, modify, and repair plastic components for scientific applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plastic fabrication, including cutting and welding PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon. Experience in cabinet carpentry and manufacturing is also essential. We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in a similar role who is ready to take on a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair plastic components using a variety of techniques and materials, including PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment to cut, shape, and join plastic materials according to specifications.
  • Perform welding tasks, including setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment.
  • Construct and repair cabinets and other structures as needed.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
  • Monitor the quality of products and report any issues or discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastic fabrication, including cutting and welding PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon.
  • Proven experience in cabinet carpentry and manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
