We are seeking an experienced Permanent PLC Automation Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role is perfect for an innovative professional who is passionate about automation, machine design, and electrical controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, conveyor systems, and mechatronics, and will be excited to work on cutting-edge automation projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent PLC Automation Specialist, you will:

1. Design, program, and debug PLC systems, primarily using RSLogix 5000, to control various automated processes such as conveyor systems and machine design.

2. Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of VFDs, motors, and servo systems.

3. Develop and update P&ID diagrams and ladder logic for control systems.

4. Work closely with the engineering team to design and implement electrical control systems for new and existing equipment.

5. Provide technical support for pneumatic systems and DCS.

6. Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding our systems and processes to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.

8. Document all system changes and updates and provide training to relevant personnel.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in PLC programming, automation, and control systems.

3. Proven experience with conveyor systems, electrical controls, ladder logic, P&ID, control, mechatronics, RSLogix 5000, calibration, pneumatics, RSLogix, machine design, VFDs, motors, servo, and DCS.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.

5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.

6. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
