Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Autocad, CPD, HVAC, Revit, plumbing design, Architectural Engineering, and plumbing theory. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems for commercial buildings. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain plumbing systems for commercial buildings
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure plumbing systems meet building codes and regulations
  • Conduct site visits to assess plumbing needs and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Create detailed plumbing plans and specifications using Autocad and other software programs
  • Perform calculations and analysis to determine the appropriate size and capacity of plumbing systems
  • Ensure plumbing systems are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in plumbing technology
  • Train and mentor junior plumbing engineers and technicians

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Autocad, CPD, HVAC, plumbing design, Architectural Engineering, and plumbing theory
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to plumbing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed
