Job Details
Responsibilities -
+ Review construction documents and specs to create accurate plumbing estimates for multi-family, hospitality, and
commercial projects
+ Produce material takeoffs, labor calculations, and cost breakdowns for plumbing systems
+ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates meet project goals
+ Maintain and update internal cost databases to reflect current market pricing
+ Participate in value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining system integrity
+ Support bid proposal development and presentations
+ Ensure all estimates comply with applicable codes, standards, and internal procedures
Qualifications -
+ 3 or more years of plumbing estimating experience in multi-family or commercial construction
+ Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and materials
+ Proficient in estimation tools such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar software
+ Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills
+ Clear communication and coordination abilities across departments and with external partners
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
