Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Trade Manager to oversee and manage plumbing operations within our construction and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, project management, and team leadership, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. This role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, and tradespeople to maintain quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage plumbing trade teams, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
Oversee plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs across various projects.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to streamline workflows and ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to guide plumbing work.
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Manage procurement and inventory of plumbing materials and equipment.
Develop and implement training programs for plumbing team members to enhance skill sets and safety awareness.
Monitor project budgets and timelines, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues related to plumbing systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
Extensive experience in plumbing trade management, preferably in a construction or modular manufacturing setting.
Licensed plumber or equivalent hands-on experience in plumbing systems.
Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor a team of plumbers and apprentices.
Experience working with blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred.
Experience with industrial or commercial plumbing systems.
Background in lean manufacturing or modular construction is a plus.
