Job Details
MUST HAVE -
+ VA Registered PE preferred or ability to obtain licensure in Virginia within 6 months
+ BSCE from ABET accredited engineering program
+ Excellent engineering design, written, and communication skills
+ Minimum of 12 yrs of technical experience and 5 years of project management and client services experience
+ Experience with VDOT and municipalities is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Lead and manage multiple transportation design projects
+ Develop project schedules and budgets
+ Supervise design team members
+ Provide quality assurance to meet design criteria and regulatory requirements
+ Business development and team management
+ Assist in developing Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), technical proposals, and presentations
+ Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, government, and regulatory agencies
+ Working knowledge of design plan preparation using Open Roads Design, GEOPAK and MicroStation
