Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Postpartum Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, providing education and support, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to postpartum mothers and newborns, monitoring and assessing their health status and responding to any changes or concerns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and support mothers and families on postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding, and other relevant topics.
• Administer medications, perform routine checks, and carry out other nursing duties as required.
• Document patient information, observations, and care provided in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for patients and their families at all times.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and developments in postpartum care.

Qualifications:

• A valid nursing degree (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current BLS certification.
• A compact nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetrics, with a focus on postpartum care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
• Knowledge of current trends and issues in postpartum care.
• Ability to educate and support patients and families in a sensitive and supportive manner.
