Job Details
Our organization is on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Power and Control Systems Designer to join our rapidly expanding team. This is a permanent position in the Engineering industry, where you will be an integral part of our mission to design and develop state-of-the-art power and control systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of power and control systems for our wide range of projects. You will work closely with our team of engineers and other professionals, using your expertise in Facilities Design, Construction Projects, AutoCAD, Revit, PLC, and HMI to develop systems that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop power and control systems for a variety of applications, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards.
2. Use AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed designs and schematics for power and control systems.
3. Participate in the planning and design of facilities, incorporating power and control systems into the overall design.
4. Work closely with construction teams to ensure the successful implementation of power and control systems on construction projects.
5. Program and configure PLC and HMI systems for optimal performance.
6. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on projects, sharing your expertise and learning from theirs.
7. Conduct tests and inspections of power and control systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with power and control systems, using your problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in power and control systems design and technology, and apply this knowledge to your work.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in power and control systems design.
3. Proven experience with Facilities Design and Construction Projects.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
5. Experience with PLC and HMI systems.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
