Are you passionate about technology, power strategies, and problem-solving? Do you have a knack for transforming complex technical issues into strategic solutions? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced Permanent Power Strategy Consultant/SME in the Tech Services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a deep understanding of power systems. You will be responsible for providing strategic advice, developing power systems, and ensuring the successful implementation of power projects. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic power solutions that align with the company's objectives and technological advancements.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify power needs and develop comprehensive power strategies that enhance efficiency and productivity.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance on power systems, including power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization.
4. Lead the planning, design, and construction of power infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.
5. Conduct detailed power system studies and analyses, including load flow, short circuit, stability, and reliability studies.
6. Evaluate the performance of power systems and recommend improvements or modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
7. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in power system technologies and incorporate them into strategic planning.
8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on power strategies and projects for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in power system planning, design, and construction.
3. Proven expertise in power system analysis and modeling tools.
4. Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of leading complex power projects from conception to completion.
5. Strong knowledge of power system technologies, including power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex technical issues into strategic solutions.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex power strategies to a non-technical audience.
8. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in power system technologies.
9. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
