Based in Houston Texas, we seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre Construction Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a pivotal role in our construction projects, providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates during the pre-construction phase, which are critical to the success of any project. 3-5 years needed for mid level and 5+ years for Senior level.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Review and evaluate cost estimates
2. Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
3. Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
4. Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
5. Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
6. Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
7. Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.
8. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects.
2. Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical construction.
3. In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Proficient in estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
