Our law firm is seeking a seasoned and ambitious Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all pre-litigation aspects of personal injury cases arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and falls, and other types of incidents that result in bodily injuries. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all pre-litigation aspects of personal injury cases, from inception to either settlement or litigation.
2. Communicate effectively and regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and the team to ensure cases are moving toward resolution.
3. Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
4. Review and analyze medical records, depositions, and other documents pertinent to the case.
5. Conduct client intakes, gather and analyze evidence, and develop case strategies.
6. Prepare and draft demand packages, letters, legal documents, and other correspondences.
7. Participate in case strategy meetings and provide insightful contributions and suggestions.
8. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction, and ensure that the needs of all clients are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pre-Litigation Attorney, specifically in the area of personal injury.
4. Proven track record of successful negotiations and settlements.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and team members.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and analyze medical records, depositions, and other documents pertinent to the case.
7. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
8. Proficient in the use of legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
10. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
