This is a permanent role that offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of pre-litigation matters, primarily focused on personal injury, accident, and wrongful death cases. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in pre-litigation, with a deep understanding of the legal principles and strategies involved. This role will require excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in pre-litigation, with a deep understanding of the legal principles and strategies involved. Responsibilities:
- Manage all pre-litigation aspects of personal injury cases, from intake through settlement.
- Conduct initial case investigation to determine, in the client's best interest, if legal proceedings are warranted.
- Draft and respond to demand letters, negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters, and interact with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
- Advise clients on their rights and responsibilities, as well as the legal implications of different courses of action.
- Conduct legal research to support client claims, gather evidence, and prepare legal documents.
- Actively engage with the legal team to develop case strategies, and work collaboratively to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, adhering to all professional ethics, duties, and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 2 years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating settlements and dealing with insurance adjusters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to clients and other members of the legal team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal arguments.
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and a track record of achieving positive outcomes for clients.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
