Job Details
We’re partnering with a growing electrical contractor that’s ready to level up its project capabilities and deepen client relationships by adding a Preconstruction Manager to the team. This role is tailor-made for someone who thrives in the preconstruction phase—connecting dots early, solving problems before they hit the field, and building trust with owners and GCs.
They’re looking for a senior-level preconstruction pro who brings diverse market experience. Healthcare, industrial (light to heavy), and federal project exposure are especially valued. You don’t need to have held the “Preconstruction Manager” title before—what matters is whether you’ve demonstrated those skills: front-end planning, solution-focused mindset, and comfort being client-facing.
This is not a back-office estimator seat. They’re looking for someone who will meet with clients, attend early-stage meetings, build rapport, and guide the decision-making process even when the drawings are still in flux. You won’t be expected to cold call or hard sell—but you will be expected to bring value, chase down answers, and help shape a project’s success from the start.
Project sizes today are typically in the $5M–$10M range. The goal? Find someone who can grow into—and grow the company into—larger, more complex $20M+ projects.
What They’re Looking For:
This is a high-impact role with clear runway. You’ll report directly to leadership and help shape the company’s trajectory in a competitive and opportunity-rich market.
