We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phase of various projects, ensuring that all aspects are meticulously planned and executed to meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, coordinate with clients and design teams, and ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines.
Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates, including general conditions cost projections, and manage subcontractor pricing.
Proposal Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to prepare and present proposals to clients, ensuring all necessary documentation and design requirements are included.
Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control programs, review design documents for compliance and constructability, and provide value engineering analysis.
Client Interaction: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the preconstruction phase.
Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate all preconstruction activities, including task assignments and performance responsibilities, and facilitate effective hand-offs to the construction execution team.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in preconstruction or construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Skills: Strong knowledge of construction engineering principles, materials, methods, sequencing, scheduling, and estimating. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to project management.
