Our Service and Warranty Department is well established and prepared to provide post-construction services. The Special Projects Division handles the most difficult and challenging projects

Our company, a leader in the construction industry, is looking for a seasoned Permanent Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the early stages of our construction projects, ensuring that all aspects are planned, coordinated, and executed effectively. This role is not for the faint-hearted, it requires a professional who is willing to take on challenges, think outside the box, and bring innovative solutions to complex problems. The Permanent Preconstruction Manager will be involved in a variety of tasks including estimating, preconstruction planning, value engineering, and project estimation. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the preconstruction phase of our projects, ensuring that all aspects are meticulously planned and prepared for.
2. Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets, and ensure that projects stay within these budgets.
3. Use value engineering techniques to find the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to construction challenges.
4. Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
5. Review and analyze project plans and specifications, and provide input to ensure that they are feasible and practical.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that we have the resources needed for our projects.
7. Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in construction technology, and use this knowledge to improve our preconstruction processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, with a strong focus on estimating, preconstruction planning, value engineering, and project estimation.
3. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in construction software, including estimating and project management tools.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
