Our Growing PACE Program is Seeking a Primary Care MD to Work in our Greensboro Office
A bit about us:
We are a local PACE program (Providing All Inclusive Care to the Elderly) right here in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will work as part of our care team, which includes other providers, RNs, CNAs, and Physical Therapists. This position requires an active and NC license. - Attend trainings as needed
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Perform health histories, physical exams, and teachings
- Serve as liaison between senior leadership and staff
- Develop treatment plans for patients
- Assist with policies and procedures
- Work with a larger care team
- Assist with audits as required
- Maintain current credentials and licenses

We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanent Primary Care Doctor to join our PACE Program in the Healthcare industry. This is a unique opportunity to work in a patient-centered, team-based environment providing comprehensive healthcare for the elderly. The successful candidate will have a passion for geriatric medicine, a commitment to providing high-quality care, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Primary Care Doctor in our PACE Program, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing comprehensive, primary care services to a diverse population of elderly patients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
2. Developing, implementing, and maintaining patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
3. Conducting regular patient assessments to monitor health conditions, plan or adjust treatment, and make necessary referrals to specialist physicians.
4. Coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of holistic, patient-centered care.
5. Participating in regular team meetings to discuss patient care, progress, and outcomes.
6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in geriatric medicine and integrating new knowledge into patient care.
7. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
8. Effectively communicating with patients, their families, and caregivers, providing them with information and reassurance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
2. A valid and current license to practice medicine.
3. Board certification in Geriatric Medicine or Family Medicine.
4. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a practicing physician, preferably in geriatric medicine.
5. Excellent knowledge of medical principles, procedures, and techniques relevant to geriatric care.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with patients, their families, and other medical professionals.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered environment.
8. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
9. The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound medical decisions.
