Principal Engineer (Utility Scale Renewable Energy & Battery Storage)
- This position is a critical support role to the Energy Storage Engineering Team responsible for the due diligence, vetting, and acceptance of various battery suppliers for the Energy Storage team.
- Equipment sizing, integration design, battery performance expectations, review of drawings, manuals, and OEM contract documents.
- Reviews OEM engineering deliverables for technical acceptance. These include drawings, manuals, performance specifications and thermal management systems
- Hold cross functional meetings with various stakeholders and OEMs to communicate complex technical concepts throughout the organization
- Support Project Engineers in design consideration based on OEM specifications
- Review OEM contracts for technical feasibility and thoroughness
- Support construction and commissioning functions by educating new emerging technology concepts
