Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of new food products from concept to commercialization, ensuring that they meet customer needs and expectations, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches.
  • Design and conduct experiments to optimize product formulations and manufacturing processes, utilizing statistical methods to analyze data and draw conclusions.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations that could improve our products or processes, and collaborate with other departments to implement them.
  • Conduct research on food ingredients and nutritional trends to identify opportunities for new product development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market research, and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of food scientists and engineers, providing guidance, training, and feedback on their work.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in Food Science or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in product development within the food and nutrition industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and engineering principles, as well as familiarity with food regulations and labeling requirements.
  • Proven track record of developing successful food products, from concept to commercialization, with a focus on consumer needs and market trends.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing and growing team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
