Qualifications
- Representing investors, portfolio companies, and management teams in a wide range of transactions, including negotiating and structuring equity financings, leveraged buyouts, and other mergers and acquisitions. This role involves detailed due diligence, creative structuring of deals, and extensive coordination with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
- Leading discussions and negotiations to secure optimal financing terms for both equity and debt components
- Structuring complex leveraged buyouts and advising on strategic acquisitions or divestitures, such as add-on acquisitions and carve-out transactions
- Collaborating closely with portfolio companies to identify value creation opportunities and implement growth strategies
- Advising clients on recapitalizations and related deal structures to ensure financial flexibility and long-term success
- Maintaining up-to-date market knowledge and industry trends to provide timely insights and strategic recommendations
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality, detail-oriented work under tight deadlines
- Acting as a trusted advisor to industry-leading middle-market private equity funds and their portfolio companies, delivering exceptional client service at every stage of the deal lifecycle
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess between 3 and 7 years of experience in areas such as equity financings, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and recapitalizations. Key qualifications include:
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex financial transactions and provide strategic insights
- Excellent professional judgment, with a keen understanding of market dynamics and risk management
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service, ensuring all stakeholders receive clear and consistent communication
- Proven experience with large firm environments, especially through working with recurring client teams and high-profile transactions
- A deep interest in and dedication to working within a top-ranked Private Equity group focused exclusively on the middle market
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across multiple teams and departments
