A bit about us:
We support our employees so you can support others!
Our special education school is a small private education school that supports students ages 5 - 22 with Autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, dual diagnoses, and social skills deficits. Our primary goal is to teach functional and pro-social skills that can be easily generalized to the students community and home.
We place a strong emphasis on functional communication and skill acquisition using Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support. Our students learn academic, social, daily living, and independent living skills, as well as community and vocational skill development and we prepare them to work within the community.
Our small class sizes and low student: teacher ratios allow for individualized planning, influential relationships, and lots of direct instruction and modeling of concepts and behaviors. Our curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum frameworks and coordinated through a collaborative working relationship with referring school districts.
