About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probate and Trust Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys in estate planning, probate administration, and trust matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file probate court documents, including petitions, inventories, and accountings
  • Assist with trust administration, including asset collection, valuation, and distribution
  • Draft correspondence, legal documents, and summaries for attorney review
  • Maintain and organize case files and client records
  • Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and court personnel
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements and timelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in probate and trust administration
  • Strong knowledge of probate procedures and estate planning terminology
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently

Preferred:

  • Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program
  • Experience with Florida probate laws
