Job Details
Run tests (Design of Experiments) on new molds to find the best process settings.
Write and update instructions and documentation for molding processes.
Lead improvement projects in the molding department.
Help estimate new jobs and work on project teams for new tooling.
Take part in quality audits and help ensure molding meets company standards.
Follow and promote safety and cleanliness across the shop.
Help design and improve mold tools and suggest new equipment to support production.
What You’ll Need:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or similar.
5+ years of experience working with plastic parts and molding processes.
Strong knowledge of plastic materials and mold tooling.
Experience with setting up and testing molding processes.
Scientific molding knowledge (Master Molder certification is a plus).
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong teamwork and people skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with quality standards like ISO or TS is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
