Job Details
Responsibilities:
What you need for this position:
- Lead and improve production processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive process innovation through new technologies, automation, and improved tooling and procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like production, quality, and sales to ensure smooth operations and project execution.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools to identify and eliminate waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis and apply Six Sigma methodologies to solve process-related issues.
- Monitor quality metrics and process performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support the seamless scale-up and launch of new processes and product introductions.
- Play a key role in managing capital projects, from proposal and budgeting to implementation.
What you need for this position:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required).
- 3+ years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Visio and SolidWorks for process flow and design work (required).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset (DMAIC, PDCA, etc.).
- Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean concepts, Kaizen events, or other operational efficiency practices.
- Excellent communication and project coordination abilities across departments.
