We are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure quality products and to seek out areas for improved efficiency in the manufacturing process.

This position follows a rotating schedule: 5 - 10 hour days; 3 days off; 5 - 10 hour afternoons; 3 days off; 5 - 10 hour nights; 4 days off

Job Details

Must be open to a rotating schedule: 5 - 10 hour days; 3 days off; 5 - 10 hour afternoons; 3 days off; 5 - 10 hour nights; 4 days off

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience in a manufacturing setting
  • 2+ years experience in a quality control and/or process improvement
  • Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience working in a union environment, preferred
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule

Day-to-day:
  • Lead and coordinate projects to enhance quality, process control, and overall efficiency.
  • Analyze project data and implement solutions with the assistance of the technical team.
  • Provide support to production and technical supervision in resolving quality-related issues to maintain productivity levels.
  • Offer technical guidance to operating crews on correct production procedures.
  • Manage sample flow by obtaining and identifying correct samples and processing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain technical equipment and supplies by ordering supplies and ensuring proper working order.
