Our organization is seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Process Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes and systems to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The candidate will be an integral part of the team, working closely with production, quality, and maintenance departments.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems based on engineering principles.
2. Analyze manufacturing process efficiencies, work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout to maximize productivity.
3. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
4. Implement Six Sigma methodologies to reduce process variability and improve product quality.
5. Use CAD and AutoCAD software to design and simulate manufacturing systems and processes.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of a continuous improvement culture, including lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and production issues.
8. Participate in the development of manufacturing design options, prototype testing, and process specifications.
9. Identify and recommend equipment, facility, and personnel changes to improve the manufacturing processes.
10. Maintain documentation accurately for all manufacturing processes and updates as necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
3. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly preferred.
4. Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD software.
5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, statistical quality control, and process control.
6. Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
10. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
