Requirements
- Assist with the procurement process from specification/definition of need through contract issuance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define procurement requirements, timelines, and specifications.
- Develop and issue RFP/RFQ packages; administer the RFP/RFQ process through bidding, selection, and contracting with suppliers.
- Facilitate the bid evaluation process; conduct cost and price analysis to support supplier selection.
- Prepare detailed procurement records, including bid tabulations, award justifications, and contract files.
- Adhere to federal procurement standards as required and maintain proper documentation for audits and federal reporting requirements.
- Draft and route non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for execution with suppliers
- Assist in developing procurement policies, procedures, templates, and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience sourcing professional services in a procurement or supply chain role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement software is a plus.
- Experience in electric utilities, construction, or infrastructure-related procurement is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with federal grant requirements and compliance standards is helpful but not required.
